31 LINN The perfected design of the tanks with rounded corners prevents injuries to the fish. The design reduces up and down ‘slopping’ of the water, and the fish are held steady. The containers ha- ve convenient recessed handles (except the190 litres containers, where the grips are screwed on). The sandwich-construction (600 – 1100 litres) has outstanding insulating proper- ties that guarantee stable water tempe- rature, vital for salmonids, cyprinids and ornamental fish. All Thermoport containers have a drain (1 1/4“) with a plug. On request, a ball valve can be fitted in place of this. This drain point is screened internally (190 and 290 litres for an extra charge) so that only water can escape.
